Finally caught up and managed to post this German Battleship Gnesenau papercraft. Two weeks ago, Mr. Obed Gordon Franco sent it to me and I’m so glad I could finally get around to sharing it.
The Gneisenau was a German capital ship .. sometimes described as a battleship and sometimes as a battlecruiser … within the Nazi Germany’s Kriegsmarine. She was the second vessel of her class, which included her sister ship, the Scharnhorst.
This detailed papercraft model is a 1:400 scale representation of a naval scene from Gdynia harbor, featuring a challenging build with 1750 parts and 14 A4 sheets.
The model includes a Focke-Wulf Fw 62 V2, a Heinkel He 114, and three Arado 196 A-2 aircraft, along with breakwaters and pierheads.
